TrustYou is confirmed as the most innovative travel company by a jury of “leaders of the travel industry, people that have invested and made millions from the creation of great travel companies.” At the center of TrustYou’s presentation was the Circle of Trust, a new vision of TrustYou’s products that enable the flow of information and feedback between hotels, guests and travel companies.
As the only non-American company, TrustYou advances to the finals of the PhoCusWright Travel Innovation Summit 2010, surpassing its 32 competitors, the most innovative travel companies of the year.
TrustYou was voted the most innovative Internet travel startup of 2008 by the Verband Internet Reisevertrieb, an association of German online travel portals. In the so-called “Launch Pad” competition, TrustYou was able to beat numerous other companies.

Is it time to disrupt the hospitality survey services industry? TrustYou thinks so. Today it’s launching its ReviewAnalyst Survey, a free guest satisfaction tool that hotels and hotel chains can use to integrate information from visitor surveys with information in social media reviews, and potentially bolster their reputation among consumers as a result.
TrustYou, the market leader in social media monitoring and semantic technologies for the online reviews and social commerce space, announced today that Solare Hotels & Resorts Co. Ltd. is using TrustYou ReviewAnalyst to capture and analyze guest comments and recommendations across the Internet.
TrustYou analyzes the thousands of hotel and restaurant reviews made available through sites like Trip Advisor and Yelp. The company focuses on sentiment analysis, or understanding whether a word means something negative or positive. For example, someone saying the hotel food made them “sick,” is negative, where a “sick” king sized bed is positive.
Munich-based TrustYou’s more than 3,000 hotel customers had been concentrated in Germany, France, Spain, the UK and Japan, and with the acquisition of Dallas-headquartered ReviewAnalyst, TrustYou enters the U.S. market for the first time.
TrustYou, a social media monitoring and semantic technologies startup, has raised a $5 million Series A round. It’s also acquiring Dallas-based competitor ReviewAnalyst. The round was led by Credit Agricole Private Equity and will be used to expand worldwide operations out of its base in Munich Germany. Its “sentiment search platform” is aimed at the hotel, restaurant and travel industries in the United States and Europe.
TrustYou, a Munich-based startup that makes semantic search technology for categorizing online reviews, has taken on $5 million in Series A funding to fuel its growth in the United States.
